NO ONE WINS in capital punishment. once we take a life we cannot correct any possible mistakes, nor can we go back to an offender and ask questions. we become undigfied humans. i have seen a lot of evidence in this case i doubt the jury has and mr. fratta talk so highly of his love of farah and his children (unconditionally). he simply wants their happiness, and if they want to yell at him, he is willing to sit and do that, as he loves them. what he does want for himself is justice. to know why video tapes of him being beaten to be viewed, the financial truths to emergre, what little financial motives he had to gain, and the truth to emerge. i believe that is fair. farah sounds like an amazing woman who loves her children and her parents. i hope they are able to find peace. i have lost 9 finds to murder. one to execution when i began to work actively against the death penalty. victims are told that an execution brings "closure." it does not. it is the greatest lie the D.A. tells you. usually for their own promotions. your loved one is still deceased, the world is still dangerous, and another family and their friends are left with pain. lethal injection isn't easy to watch. i have been there. it is arbitrary, racisit, sexist, against the poor, mentally challenged, mentally ill (20% of texas death row inmates are on medications for this), not a deterrent (states without have a lower murder rate), expensive (over 2 million more than life w/o parole in TX some states $250 million where we could spend that money on police protection and crime prevention) and we do kill the innocent. all of this said, we cannot affor this system. what happened to farah was sadly far too common which is why we owe it to her memory to change our society so that these children and others are not put into this position. having a wonderful mother dead and being stuck in a poistion in a court that seeks to murder their genetic link at such a young age is a sick reflection on us. the fact we tried to do it when they were younger disgusts me even more. we need to evolve! mr. fratta needs sccess to the same specialists the resources the prosecution has (minus death penalty threat) for an even playing field. the children should get to know both sides to of family. so they can feel loved and wanted. and shame on many of you for making lame rhyming jokes about farah's farah's death. she deserves the greatest respect for bringing these three lovely children into this worl and loving them with her whole heart for as long as they were blessed to have her. no one wins here. we all lose, this is not a joke
